I am in the process of a 2ftx2ft omaha d-day diorama.
It includes:
Airfix sherman
Airfix landing craft
Airfix german infantry
Airfix willys jeepx2
Airfix GMC truck
Airifx coastal defence fort
Pegasus german army truck
ACE 8.8 german AT gun Pak 43/41 sheunentor
Airfix DUKW
Pegasus D-day rangers,
Here are some pictures of recent progress:

I have decided to extend the german side by 1ft as it is not historicaly correct:
-The german coastal defence fort was not at the edge of the cliff and was further in mainland
-I am also making it higher as the top of the cliff would of had trenches

Here is the extension so far:
Before paper mache is added-

And after paper mache was added(note the trench-this is not the front of the cliff it is behind the original bit)-

The airfix jeep is not made any more so the only place you could get them is ebay

However, there is a make called heller who is made by airfix, they still produce one the same as airfix,
