Jagdpanther V

Built on the Panther chassis, the Jagdpanther (Hunting Panther) was a tank killer, it had a powerful 88mm PaK 43 cannon and extremely thick armour.

Shown here is the Jagdpanther at Bovington, painted in a typical 'ambush' scheme.

The mesh over the engine intake grilles was to stop debris being ingested and to stop partisans from throwing grenades into the gaps.
